'Lost In A Moment' was originally written in 2012 in Shark Bay, Western Australia, while I was pearl farming there to get my second year working holiday visa in Australia. The core of the song's origins come from the emotions and nostalgia built around the loss of my granddad who died when I was twelve. The lyrics visually convey moments with him, while also including current moments, experiences and feelings associated with the life I was living at the time in Shark Bay - being twenty one, living on the other side of the world, being away from my family ... It also portrays a story of love, being with the ones you love the most - today, happy and content in their company.
